Additional sensors installation

  • If necessary you can connect to the device additional sensors (such as temperature sensor, different volume sensors, weighing cell, unauthorized access sensors, external devices connection, including PC, pocket PC and others) by means of Slot 3.
  • To connect peak sensors and buttons use "Out 1-4" for digital sensors "TX and RX". Please apply to our Help-desk for additional information.
  • Attention! Do not connect sensors directly to the device but use interface circuit!

Installation (Hard) Device has 3 slots:

Slots (1,2,3)

Slot 1 - Consists of two contacts (1,2):

  • 1 - Power supply contact +12 V (on the matching bar RED cable).
  • 2 - Ground (on the matching bar BLACK cable).

Slot 2 - GPS antenna connection.

  COLOUR FUNCTION PIN
Slot 2 Black GND 1
Red VCC 2
- NC 2
White RX 3
Green TX 4
- NC 5

Slot 3 - Consists of ten contacts (3-12)

  • 3 - Ground.
  • 4 - Out 1.
  • 5 - GPS Data (TTL level).
  • 6 - Led + (for light diode connection).
  • 7 - Led - (for light diode connection).
  • 8 - GPIO 2.
  • 9 - GPIO 3.
  • 10 - GPIO 4.
  • 11 - ТХ (TTL level).
  • 12 - RX (TTL level).

To run the device connect GPS antenna (for correct operation of antenna, it is recom¬mended to place antenna in a way it is not covered by metal) and Slot 1 connected to the steady power supply 12V (operating voltage 9-16V). By switching on the light-indi¬cator GPS antenna will inform you about system start, and flashing signal of light-indi¬cator determines that data is liquid, it is transferred, and in case of GSM network failing, it is accumulated by the device.
